This real summery round pendant is filled with a detail of the bright orange leaves of the Lantern plant. Really one eye-catcher!

The lantern plant ( Physalis) for symbol of safety, comfort and protection .      Physalis means 'bladder', which refers to the shape of the lantern that protects a berry.
In the autumn, in a patch of greenery in the Rivierenbuurt in Amsterdam, I found dozens of lanterns on the ground, some of which were already rotting away. When the pulp (between the veins) of the lantern plant rots away in the autumn, you are left with only the veins. This is called the skeleton leaf and is beautiful to use in jewelry - see some other pendants in the collection for processing the skeleton leaf.

The pendant comes standard with a 45 cm snake chain with a logo charm. If you prefer a different length or a different type of chain (snake, linked or leather (brown or black), please email first or immediately after you have placed an order.

Jewelry care :

All jewelry has an extra layer of Renaissance wax polish to protect against external influences. Still, all jewelry is best treated with care to ensure it lasts a long time.

  • Avoid contact with water and remove jewelry when swimming, showering, washing hands, doing dishes, sauna or exercising.
  • Also avoid contact with perfume, creams and other chemicals such as cleaning products. These can affect and damage the product.
  • Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the jewelry (to remove skin oils and make-up, among other things) and then dry thoroughly.
  • If possible, do not expose your jewelry to direct sunlight for too long. For example, put the jewelry in a small fabric bag or box for storage.
